Application Process 2018-2019

Requirements: St. Wendelin Catholic School (SWCS) does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship, loan programs, athletic, fine arts and other school-administered programs.
Students will respect and uphold the Catholic teachings and will retain good academic and disciplinary standing from previous school(s), and will exhibit positive attitudes and work habits.

NEW STUDENTS (Kindergarten and Transfer Students)

Step 1: Visit the School   419-435-8144

Call to schedule an appointment for both parent and child(ren)to visit the school to meet with the director of enrollment and administration. You will take a school tour, and/or have your child(ren) shadow a SWCS student for a day.  We want you to experience first-hand the wonderful atmosphere of St. Wendelin Catholic School.

Step 2: Submit Application

Kindergarten Application Process

You will be given a Kindergarten Packet to prepare and return.
You will sign-up for a Kindergarten student evaluation.
You will apply for any and all Scholarships & Grants in Aid available. (EDCHOICE, Jon Petersen Scholarship, St. Wendelin Scholarships, and Northwest Ohio Scholarship Foundation)

Grades 1-8  Application Process

You will be given a New Student Transfer Packet to prepare and return.
Complete all transfer application documents.  Ensure all required supplemental application materials are provided: previous academic records, disciplinary records, grant and scholarship applications, etc.
You will apply for any and all Scholarships & Grants in Aid available. Link to our T.R.I.P. information.
Meet with director of enrollment to finalize application.
SWCS will hold several OPEN HOUSE & ENROLLMENT events to register.
(January 28, 2018 & February 1, 2018 are the first opportunities to enroll.)

 Step 3:  Receive Admission Notification

 After reviewing the application, parents of applicants will be notified of the admission decision.

 Step 4:   Sign Tuition Memorandum of Understanding Agreement
